2023 Impact
Through your generosity, the Fund’s resources have supported these incredible organizations highlighted below. With our 501(c) (3) status, we are excited to further these relationships and create many new impactful opportunities for those we serve.
The Cincinnati Reds Community Fund
The Cincinnati Reds Community Fund strives to create programming that connects underserved children with baseball while creating fundraising programs that connect baseball with the community. Our donation was earmarked for their “RBI” Program, Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities.
Dragonfly Foundation
Dragonfly Foundation helps pediatric cancer families and patients find Strength, Courage, and Joy. Dragonfly relieves the emotional, relational and practical challenges of cancer. At their core, what they offer is community, the feeling that you are not alone during this alien, isolating experience. They live to provide understanding, support, resources and opportunities families will rely and reflect on for years to come.
The Progressive Animal Welfare Society
The Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a private, nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter that was established in 1980. Their mission is to provide loving, humane care and housing for unwanted, abused, and neglected dogs and cats until permanent homes can be found. They provide medical and surgical treatment for all animals under their care.
Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue
Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3), 100% volunteer operated, no-kill animal rescue center that was established in 2006. They established the Peppermint Pig Thrift & Gift shop to support Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue. One hundred percent of the proceeds from their volunteer-operated thrift store go directly to the rescue and care of animals in need. All rescued pets reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted since there is not a physical shelter for them.
So wonderful to see the impact of The Kyle Swanson Legacy Fund first hand tonight as we celebrated the ‘Reds RBI High School Athletes and National Girls and Women in Sports Day” with The Reds Community Fund. KSLF is proud to be a part of such a positive program.
We’re in good hands with such wonderful young people!
Thanks to all of our donors for making this possible, we are deeply humbled by you.
